Toni Phillips Retires After 40 Years

The staff at Morrow Mountain State Park would like to invite everyone to join us for a celebration of Mrs. Toni Phillips and her 40 years of dedicated service to Morrow Mountain State Park. Toni's first position at MOMO began in 1975, in a program funded by CETA. Acting Superintendent Coot Gulledge hired Toni to clean park facilities and perform manual labor and construction tasks throughout the park. Toni continued to work seasonally at MOMO for ten years; then in 1985, she was hired in a permanent position as the park's first Office Assistant and she has been in-charge of the park ever since. An invitation and RSVP card are attached. Please let us know if you are attending prior to the end of August. Also, if you would like to say a few words at the roast,... err... ceremony, please let me or Karen Ake know that as well.
