Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park

On Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at the Friends of State Parks' fall board meeting approval was given to make the Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park an official, new Chapter.

In 2007 a group at Morrow Mountain started the process to create a Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park, however, it was in mid 2012 that the process gained broader community support and sought to become a Chapter under the umbrella of the well established, statewide, Friends of State Parks.

Now with over 66 new members, new bylaws, new directors and officers and new committees the Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park is now ready to move forward and actively support Morrow Mountain State Park.
