Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park

At the NC Friends of State Parks Board Meeting at Haw River State Park the board approved and asked all local Friends groups to strongly support the $75 million dollar bond effort going directly to the state parks. Vote yes on March 15th! Failure to pass these bonds on March 15th would prove to be a huge problem for the NC state park system.

1. The Connect NC Bonds provide a very important $75 million to NC State Parks.

2. The Connect NC Bonds provide $1,537,500 to Morrow Mountain State Park for additional visitor cabins.

3. The Connect NC Bonds also provide $5,510,980 for Stanly Community College.
