Friends of Morrow Mountain State Park

The annual meeting of FMMSP was held Sunday Nov 18, 2014 at the lodge at MOMO. There were about 20 members present and all enjoyed old fashion brunswick stew cooked on the grounds in a 50qt wash pot.

Ranger Ron Anundson built a fire in the huge fireplace in the lodge and all was good.

Elections of new officers for coming year were as follows:

• Vice Chair Robert Flake
• Secretary Tanya Davis
• Treasurer Tevis Smith
• Director Laura Krug
• Director Janet Davis
• Director Walter Deppe

FMMSP will start fundraising beginning in the new year. We want to restore the entrance wall on the right side. There have been many compliments for the first wall restoration and the board voted to complete the entrance.

A trail workday is coming up on December 13th. Only 3 people showed up to help the last workday. With all the people that hike the trails we can do better. Let's have a good turnout for December.
