We want to thank NM Steele for making most of these games available to us for publication. The collection spans from 1959-1979, and includes a battle with a primitive chess computer (from the NC Closed Championship in 1979!!), and Joan Schmidt, once one of NC's most active female competitors. Many other great games include names like NM Greg Samsa, NM Maurice Dana, NM Lee Taylor, NM Russell Potter, and more! David is a North Carolina Chess Hall of Fame Inductee, see his bio there.
